Hier drüben:
The "Dollhouse" pilot is a bit muddled -- it feels like a puzzle that wasn't put together quite right. Maybe that's because the first episode wasn't really meant to be the first one at all. But even though the pilot (9/8 C Feb. 13 on Fox) is flawed, it has major potential. The best thing is that since the time I've watched it, I've been thinking about the show a lot -- always a good sign -- and I'm excited to see what comes next.

Having just watched the first episode, this strikes me as a very fair, and intelligent, review. (Although I wouldn't use the word "muddled"). I wasn't blown away by DH. But I was intrigued, sufficiently to want to watch further - and I've been scrupulously steering clear of all spoilers/plot details for this show. It didn't zing, as my first episode of Buffy did, or move me in the way the Firefly pilot did, but it was intelligent, clearly has depth, and features some great characters and performances. I say yes. :-)
Der Konsens bildet sich langsam: Gut, nicht großartig, und viel Potential.
Wie es sich für einen Whedon-Piloten gehört. :)
